Abu Dhabi Food Hub Engages Global Food Trade Community at Gulfood 2026

Abu Dhabi Food Hub participated in Gulfood 2026, held from 26 to 30 January 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai. Widely recognised as the world’s largest annual food and beverage sourcing event, the 31st edition of Gulfood was the biggest in the exhibition’s history and, for the first time, was hosted across two venues to accommodate its global scale.

The event brought together over 8,500 exhibitors, nearly 300,000 visitors, and participants from around 195 countries, showcasing more than 1.5 million food and beverage products across the global supply chain.

Abu Dhabi Food Hub participated with an 80 sqm stand in North Hall 12, designed to introduce the platform to international producers, exporters, distributors, and logistics stakeholders. The stand served as a focal point for engagement, highlighting the Hub’s role as an integrated wholesale food trade and logistics ecosystem supporting regional distribution and market access.

As part of the event programme, the CEO of Abu Dhabi Food Hub participated in a panel discussion at the Gulfood Global Summit titled “Scaling Food Security Across the Global South – Power and Potential.” The session brought together global industry leaders and policymakers to discuss opportunities for strengthening food trade resilience and supply chain collaboration.

Throughout the exhibition, the team engaged with a diverse group of stakeholders, including manufacturers, exporters, distributors, logistics operators, and trade associations. The participation generated strong interest from companies exploring opportunities to access the UAE and wider regional markets through Abu Dhabi Food Hub.

Overall, Gulfood 2026 provided an important platform to strengthen awareness of Abu Dhabi Food Hub among the global food trade community, while supporting the positioning of Abu Dhabi as a strategic gateway connecting international suppliers with regional markets.
