Abu Dhabi Food Hub takes centre stage during Global Vertical Farming Show

Abu Dhabi Food Hub participated in the 5th Global Vertical Farming Show (GVF) 2024, held on 10–11 September 2024 at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre, Dubai. The event is recognised as the Middle East’s leading platform dedicated to vertical farming and controlled-environment agriculture, bringing together global experts, investors, growers, and technology providers to explore innovations shaping the future of sustainable food production.

During the event, Abu Dhabi Food Hub contributed to a key panel discussion on “Uniting Public and Private Sector Entities to Achieve Best-of-All Food Systems in the UAE.” The session addressed the role of collaboration between government and industry in strengthening food security, sustainable production systems, and resilient supply chains.

The discussion also highlighted the importance of market access and trade connectivity through integrated platforms such as Abu Dhabi Food Hub, enabling producers and agri-technology players to connect with regional distribution networks and expand their reach across GCC and international markets.

Participation in the Global Vertical Farming Show provided an opportunity to engage with leaders across the agri-tech ecosystem while reinforcing Abu Dhabi Food Hub’s role in supporting innovation-driven food systems and advancing the UAE’s long-term food security objectives.
